We're off!
After an amazing weekend of shows here in our home town, we are all boarding planes today and tomorrow to meet up in Munich. We will take a day of rest to get a jump on jet lag recovery and then some of us are touring DACHAU Concentration Camp on the 23rd to glean the important historical messages it holds. One of our dancers, Taylor, has a family friend that was in Dachau as a prisoner the day it was liberated! *click here to read Harold Gordon's Story . The Tanzsommer Tour crew picks us up on the 24th, and the tour officially begins in earnest and at lightning speed from there.
Innsbruck, Austria is our first performance city, and the venue is: The Dogana, Emperor Maximillian's former palace military stables that were later converted into a beautiful 1850 seat state-of-the-art theater after the War. **click here to see Our Innsbruck Stage . We begin rehearsals for the Innsbruck Tanzsommer Gala Concert the moment we arrive...well, that is, right after we meet the other three studio's from America and learn the Finale choreography from the Tanzsommer choreographer.
But for now, all we care about is getting some sleep on the plane, what movies are airing on our flights, and hoping airline food doesn't live up to it's reputation!
Thanks for following along with us :)
